Terms and Conditions for JK Learning

Last Updated: [07/05/2026]

Welcome to JK Learning (“we”, “us”, “our”).
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, and any online platforms operated by us (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Services.

1. Internet Access:

It is very important that you have a strong WIFI connection in order to be able to participate in our classes.

2. Behaviour in class

It is expected that students will behave and act appropriately and respectfully at all times. If this is not the case, they will be removed from the class. No refund will be provided.

3. Eligibility

You must be:

  • At least 18 years old to book our services; or

  • A minor with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

Parents/guardians are responsible for the minor’s use of the Services.

4. Price:

  • All group classes cost £20 per class, per student.

  • There are eight students per group.

  • Classes are paid for on a monthly class subscription basis. Parents can sign up for this on the last week of each month. The fee is £80 per month. This includes access to all classes and notes, personalised feedback for parents and students and reports provided.

  • Students can trial a class for £20 and pay a prorated amount if they join the classes mid-month. This is subject to availability.

  • Parents can then transition to the monthly subscription at the end of the month.

  • Subscriptions are automatically renewed on a monthly basis at the end of each month. Parents will receive a reminder email in the third week of each month. The last subscription payment is taken in the first week of May for Year 11 and in the first week of July for Years 9 and 10.

  • If a subscription payment fails, the system will automatically retry up to three more times over the course of 7 days. However, if payment continues to fail, the student’s place will be cancelled and offered to another student on the waiting list. You will be notified by email if payment fails.

  • Students will not be permitted access to the class or notes unless payment has been made.

  • If a student knows in advance that they will be absent for a group class during the month of classes, that class remains payable.

  • Please note that unused classes cannot be carried over to the next month or transferred to another student or be used as payment for a resource or individual class.

  • Students will be able to access the notes from that class and all details of the homework in order to catch up before the next class.

  • They can also email us if they have any questions at jklearningco@gmail.com or send a message using our contact page

  • A minimum of two students is required in a group to qualify for the agreed group class rate. If fewer than two students are in the group, one-to-one class pricing will apply.

  • Individual one-to-one classes are priced at £60 per 1-hour session and must be paid for in advance of the class taking place and are subject to availability. Please contact us here to enquire about availability.

5. Logging onto classes and accessing notes:
  • The class will be run via Zoom weekly for 1 hour. Please take note of the time that you have been allocated.

  • Students will be able to access both Zoom and Google Drive where the notes are stored once payment has been made for classes.

  • Students should access the class via a laptop or PC as we will be asking students to log into a Google Drive document to complete exercises during the class.

  • If students log in to the call via a mobile or tablet, they must download Zoom onto the device or they may not be able to access the call. In order to be able to complete written exercises in Google Drive during the call, a laptop or PC is required. If there is a problem accessing a laptop/PC, please make us aware in advance of the class.

  • All notes will be stored in Google Drive in an account that we will create for the group. Only the students in that class and us will have access to this account.

  • Students are not permitted to share this content with anyone outside of the group.

  • Students will need to have a standard Gmail account in order to access Google Drive.

  • Students should have Google Drive open at the start of each class.

6. Attendance:
  • All students have been assigned a time for their allotted group or time slot.

  • Please make sure that they are logged on in time for classes as classes will start punctually. Late arrivals can be disruptive.

  • Due to the small group setting of our weekly classes, we appreciate 24 hours notice if a student cannot attend. Absent students will have access to material covered and homework assigned for the next class so that they can catch up on anything missed. If there are any questions, the student can contact us at jklearningco@gmail.com and we will respond as soon as possible.

  • Our classes are live and take place on a weekly basis. Classes will not be recorded in the event a student cannot attend.

  • Students are not permitted to record any aspect of these classes.

  • As above mentioned, students will have access to the material covered and notes provided during the class with a clear outline of what they need to cover for the following week. If they have any questions, they should feel free to contact us. Students should aim to consistently attend classes.

  • Students will be muted upon entering the class and their cameras will be off.
