Refund Policy for JK Learning

At JK Learning, we aim to provide reliable, high-quality tuition. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are issued and under what conditions lessons may be cancelled, rescheduled, or credited.

By booking lessons, you agree to the terms below.

1. General Refund Principles

We offer refunds in accordance with:

  • Fair use

  • Transparency

  • Reasonable notice

  • Tutor time commitments

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will apply to future bookings only.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling by Students

2.1 Notice Period

  • Lessons cancelled more than 48 hours before the scheduled start time are eligible for:
    ✔ Full refund or
    ✔ Free rescheduling

  • Lessons cancelled less than 48 hours before the start time may be charged in full, and no refund will be provided.

2.2 No-Shows

If a student does not attend a scheduled session and provides no prior notice:

  • The session is charged in full

  • No refund or credit will be issued

3. Cancellation by Tutors

If a tutor cancels a session:

  • Students may choose a full refund, or

  • Reschedule at no additional cost

If recurring cancellations occur, alternative tutors may be offered.

4. Package Bookings (Block Lessons)

For prepaid packages (e.g., 5, 10, 20 lessons):

  • Unused lessons can be refunded within 14 days of purchase, minus any sessions already completed.

  • Completed lessons are non-refundable.

  • After the refund window, remaining lessons may be issued as account credit instead of cash refund.

5. Late Arrivals

  • Tutors will wait for 15 minutes unless informed in advance of expected arrival time.

  • If the student joins late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time.

  • No partial refunds are given for late arrivals.

6. Technical Issues

6.1 Student-Side Technical Issues

If a student experiences internet, device, or software problems:

  • No refund is provided

  • The lesson may be rescheduled at the tutor’s discretion

6.2 Tutor-Side Technical Issues

If a tutor's connection or equipment prevents a proper lesson:

  • The session will be rescheduled, or

  • A full refund will be issued

7. Quality Concerns

If you are unhappy with a lesson:

  • Contact us within 48 hours

  • We may offer a replacement session, alternative tutor, credit, or partial/full refund depending on the situation

We aim to resolve all concerns promptly and fairly.

8. Refund Processing Time

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Please allow 7 working days for processing by your bank or payment provider

9. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable:

  • Completed lessons

  • Missed/no-show sessions

  • Administrative or enrolment fees (if applicable)

  • Downloaded or accessed digital materials
