Reading Skills Guide for Years 7 and 8

This guide supports your child to develop the key reading skills that they need in order to be successful in their English lessons. Students can complete the activities throughout the guide to practise their skills. The guide contains sections on skimming, scanning, predicting, inferring, summarising, clarifying and questioning, which are all key skills required to succeed in English.
