Hello, I'm Julia, founder of JK Learning. After over a decade in mainstream schools, I left face to face teaching in 2024 and began working in online tuition and alternative provision. I love the freedom of working with students on a 1:1 and small group basis, and have seen so many flourish and achieve beyond their own expectations.

My Story
I trained as a teacher in 2010 and have worked at a range of fantastic schools around Sheffield and Chesterfield. I have two small children (5 and 2 at the time of writing!) and found classroom teaching didn't offer the flexibility I required. I moved into online teaching and alternative provision when my youngest was 1 and haven't looked back! I have enjoyed working with wonderful students and families over the past two years and can't wait to connect with more wonderful home educating and flexi schooling families.
